Just go for a drive

Sometimes the best plan is no plan at all. Take the car, follow the valley, stop when the view asks you to stop, and let the road decide the day.

Towards the mountains, you can hardly go wrong. The landscape changes slowly at first, then suddenly: wider skies, sharper peaks, colder streams, old villages clinging to the slopes.

If you only do one thing, go to Génos and Loudenvielle. Walk by the lake, sit for a while, and take your time. That is exactly what this place is about.

A landscape to slow down in

Around Le Moulin de La Neste, there is no need to fill every hour. The beauty of this valley is in its quiet invitations: a market in the morning, a walk by the river, a road into the mountains, a simple meal, an unexpected view.

We are happy to help you choose places to visit, routes to walk, markets to explore and small local discoveries that suit your stay.
