Patrick worked in IT and electrical engineering, while Marlous worked as a social worker, among others with veterans.\n      <\/p>\n      <p>\n        For many years, we dreamed of moving abroad. We longed for more peace, more space around us, and a life closer to nature.\n      <\/p>\n      <p>\n        So we took the step. We left, searched, doubted, looked again \u2014 and eventually found the place that felt right.\n      <\/p>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"lm-about-card\">\n      <h2>An old sawmill by La Neste<\/h2>\n      <p>\n        We found an old water-driven sawmill from around 1870, situated on the River La Neste at the foot of the Pyrenees.\n      <\/p>\n      <p>\n        It was not a finished dream. It was a place with history, character and work to be done. But that was exactly what we were looking for.\n      <\/p>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"lm-about-card\">\n      <h2>A new chapter<\/h2>\n      <p>\n        After renovation, we are now ready to share this place.
